Kiran Lama: A Journey of Service, Skills, and Empowering Caregivers

Founder of Shalom Caregiver and Multi Training Center

Kiran Lama is a dedicated caregiver, trainer, educator, entrepreneur, and professional with a diverse career built around service, learning, and empowering others. With 13 years of professional experience working as a caregiver in Israel, he brings extensive international experience and practical knowledge to the field of caregiving and vocational education.

His journey reflects a strong commitment to helping people develop the skills, confidence, and language abilities they need to build better careers—particularly those preparing for opportunities abroad.

13 Years of Caregiving Experience in Israel

Kiran Lama spent 13 years working in Israel as a professional caregiver, gaining firsthand experience in elderly care, patient support, daily living assistance, communication, safety, and compassionate care.

Working in an international caregiving environment gave him valuable insight into the realities of the profession. Rather than focusing only on classroom theory, his teaching approach is strongly influenced by practical experience and real-life situations encountered while working with patients and families.

This experience has become one of the foundations of his work at Shalom Caregiver and Multi Training Center.

Founder of Shalom Caregiver and Multi Training Center

With a vision of producing skilled and confident caregivers, Kiran Lama founded Shalom Caregiver and Multi Training Center.

The center focuses on practical caregiver training, language preparation, professional development, and orientation for individuals who want to pursue caregiving careers in Nepal and abroad.

His goal is not simply to provide certificates, but to help students understand what professional caregiving actually requires: skill, patience, responsibility, communication, discipline, and compassion.

TOT-Certified Trainer

Kiran is also a TOT (Training of Trainers) certified trainer, strengthening his ability to design and deliver structured vocational training.

His training methodology combines practical demonstrations, interactive learning, workplace examples, and skills-based instruction. His international caregiving experience allows him to connect training-room lessons with real workplace situations.

Orientation Officer at NAVT, Bhaisepati, Nepal

Kiran Lama has also served as an Orientation Officer at NAVT, Bhaisepati, Nepal.

Through orientation and training activities, he has worked with individuals preparing for employment and overseas opportunities. This role has further developed his understanding of professional orientation, workplace expectations, communication, and responsible preparation for migration and employment.

Hebrew Language Teacher

Having spent many years in Israel, Kiran has developed strong practical knowledge of the Hebrew language and Israeli culture.

He now uses this experience to teach Hebrew to aspiring caregivers and others preparing to work in Israel. His approach emphasizes practical communication—language that learners can actually use in daily life and caregiving situations.

From basic greetings and everyday conversations to workplace vocabulary, his Hebrew classes are designed around practical needs.

English Language Teacher

Kiran is also involved in English language teaching, particularly for learners preparing for work, study, and international opportunities.

He understands that language is more than a test requirement. For caregivers, effective English communication can be essential for understanding instructions, communicating with patients and families, reporting changes in a patient's condition, and working safely in professional environments.

Professional Photographer

Beyond caregiving and education, Kiran Lama is a professional photographer.

Photography has allowed him to explore creativity, visual storytelling, people, culture, landscapes, and important moments. His experience in photography adds another dimension to his professional profile and reflects his interest in both technical skills and creative expression.

Trekking Guide

Kiran is also an experienced trekking guide, giving him an opportunity to work with people from different backgrounds and explore Nepal's natural and cultural heritage.

As a trekking guide, he has developed valuable skills in communication, leadership, teamwork, safety awareness, problem-solving, and hospitality—qualities that also complement his work as a trainer and caregiver.

Education and Continuous Learning

Kiran believes that professional development never stops. He is currently pursuing an MA (Master of Arts), first year, continuing his academic journey alongside his professional responsibilities.

His combination of academic study, international work experience, vocational training, language teaching, photography, and trekking makes his professional background particularly diverse.

A Mission Beyond Training

Kiran Lama's professional journey is united by one central idea: empowering people through practical skills and knowledge.

Whether he is caring for a patient, training a caregiver, teaching Hebrew or English, guiding trekkers, taking photographs, or working with people preparing for overseas employment, his work is centered on people and their development.

Through Shalom Caregiver and Multi Training Center, he continues to work toward creating caregivers who are not only trained but also competent, confident, responsible, and prepared for the realities of professional caregiving.

Looking Ahead

With more than a decade of international caregiving experience and a growing role in vocational education, Kiran Lama continues to build his vision of a training environment where practical skills, language, professional ethics, and real-world experience come together.

His journey from working as a caregiver in Israel to becoming a trainer, educator, entrepreneur, photographer, and trekking guide demonstrates the value of continuous learning and adaptability.

Kiran Lama's story is ultimately a story of experience transformed into opportunity—using what he has learned to prepare and empower the next generation of caregivers.
